MISSION STATEMENT
Opera Praktikos (OPrak) is a leading disability-affirmative opera company presenting opera that is inter-abled and champions disability-artistry as a contributing force in the field. Through deliberate reinterpretations of classical operas and the commissioning of new works, our performers, arts-workers and audiences authentically find themselves in the stories we portray on stage. We do this by honoring disability culture, fostering community and making really great opera!
